Fourteen Early Blown Wineglasses, early 19th century, all with cottontwist stems, most with trumpet-form and some with bell-form bowls, (minor chips and imperfections), ht. to 7 in. Estimate $300-500 Two glass appear to be reproductions, all of the rest appear to be genuine. Eleven of the old glass have chips either on the foot or the rim, or in some cases both. Eight have chipping on the foot that varies; some are from rather small and subtle; some have multiple chips; one has severe chipping. Five glass have chipping on the rim. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging. Any condition statement given, as a courtesy to a client, is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact.
