Painted Molded Wax Portrait of a Young Gentleman, probably England, early 19th century, profile view of the dark-haired subject behind an eglomise mat, inscription on the reverse of the frame reads: "Benjamin James/Uncle of Abigail James ***," (indistinct), in a molded giltwood and carved gesso frame, overall 10 1/4 x 9 in.
