First edition, octavo, full green calf boards with gilt stamping, frontispiece with an original crystallotype photograph of John Hancock's house by J.A. Whipple, (pages toned, foxing especially in front and back pages, page with the Whipple image foxed, but not affecting the image), 8 5/8 x 6 1/4 in. Provenance: Deaccessioned from the John Teti Rare Photography Book Collection, New Hampshire Institute of Art.
