Gothic Walnut Astronomical Floor Regulator, gothic walnut veneer case with lancet-top hood and three pyramidal finials over the glazed round brass dial door, glazed gothic waist door flanked by chamfered corners, and the base with a pair of inset gothic panels, all on a separate bracket base, 18-in. silvered astronomical dial, three blued-steel hands, heavy brass time-only movement with jeweled deadbeat faces, maintaining power, brass dust covers, and a silvered beat scale, powered by a single brass-cased weight, (lacking pendulum), ht. 112 in. Provenance: Norfolk Southern Railway. Estimate $4,000-6,000 Lacking pendulum, dial rivets are missing, small dents in dial, minute and hour hand arbors appear to be bent, minute hand is broken.
