Large Bronze Statue of Buddha, Burma, 20th century, seated cross-legged with hands in bhumisparsha mudra, inlaid eyes, ht. 40 1/2 in. Provenance: A private collection acquired some time ago from several New England galleries. Estimate $1,500-2,000 some casting flaws, some chips or casting flaws to his topknot, minor tarnishing and rusting, surface dirt and soiling, otherwise in good condition without apparent damages.
