Gualberto Rocchi (American/ Italian, b. 1914). "Adam and Eve" - 1981, patinated bronze, signed and dated. Figural sculpture depicting an unashamed nude male and female in full length supported by a tree trunk to back, the woman standing behind the male to right and resting her chin on his shoulder as he turns his face toward her, the work with mottled texture and tone reminiscent of clay or pottery. Work mounted to a rectangular dark stone plinth. Overall approximate height 26", width 13.75", depth 9.5".
