Signed "Honor C Appleton" l.l., identified in an inscription on the back of the mat, inscribed "161/W11605/4/8071/3" on the reverse. Watercolor and pencil on paper, 11 1/4 x 6 3/4 in., matted, unframed. Condition: Affixed to mat with tape in two places along left edge on the reverse, unevenly trimmed, scattered tack holes near edges, scattered handling creases and stains, brown tape remnants near edges on the reverse.
