Han-style Woman's Informal Robe, China, 19th/20th century, blue silk woven with Buddhist Emblems, with contrasting trim embroidered with butterflies and flowers, with red silk sleeve bands embroidered with alternating butterflies and lotus plants, with three satsuma ceramic buttons, lg. 35 in. Estimate $700-900 sleeve bands pinned, small hole base of left sleeve, slight damage to gold trim at collar, minor staining at front.
