Landscape Painting, China, in the manner of Chen Shaomei (1909-1954), depicting a river view with fishermen in boats and high peaks in the distance, inscribed with title, signed "Shaomei Chen Yunzhang" with a seal reading "Chen zhang," ink and light color on paper, framed and glazed, sight size 21 1/8 x 9 3/4 in. Provenance: Ms. Jeanne Poli (1916-2005), West Haven, CT; purchased in 2006 by the present owner. Estimate $1,500-2,000 not examined out of frame, water damages to the upper right, some foxing in progress to upper. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
