Bangwa Royal Society Helmet Mask, cylindrical form with three faces carved in relief, the fourth side open, the high domed head surmounted by four projecting heads facing forward above each face, with an overall encrusted patina, some color pigments exposed underneath, ht. 16 3/4 in. Provenance: The Nicholas Rubano collection, New Hampshire; purchased in 1979 from Leonard Kahan Galleries, New York City.
