Birch and Cherry Corner Cupboard, probably Pennsylvania, late 18th/early 19th century, the upper section with canted cornice above a pair of eight-light cupboard doors, the topmost lights are tombstone-shaped, opens to a light green-painted interior, set into a lower section with two short drawers and paneled doors below, all on a base of flared feet joined by a shaped apron, refinished, (one glass cracked), ht. 86 3/4, overall wd. 49 1/2, dp. along side to corner 35 in. Estimate $1,500-2,500 very thin platforms added under feet, long ago. cracks to mid molding, stable crack to one glass and imperfections to others, wear consistent with age, cornice molding may be an old replacement.
