William and Mary Oyster- and Walnut-veneered Side Table, England, late 17th/early 18th century, oak secondary wood, top with curved edge, frieze drawer with ring pulls, barley-twist legs, cross-stretcher, four turned feet, ht. 28 1/2, wd. 26, dp. 21 in. Provenance: Property from the Harvard Art Museum, sold to benefit the acquisition fund. Estimate $300-500 Later drawer lock and probably replaced pulls, feet replaced, crack in one leg. One top corner chiped. Stretcher possibly an old replacement. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
