Red-stained Candle Drying Rack, America, 19th century, the four arms of the "X" rack with five holes, bentwood pivot and chamfered stand and wood block base, possibly Shaker, ht. 25 1/2, wd. 41, dp. 40 1/4 in. Estimate $20-200 piece has been refinished, and exhibits a large chip to the base and a few minor chips to the ends of each arm. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
