Engraved Pewter Flagon, Germany, 19th century, the cylindrical form with a molded lid topped by an armored figure holding a flag bearing the date "1843," the body engraved with rampant lions flanking an anchor, heart, and crown and surrounded by German names, marked on the underside of the lid, overall ht. 16 3/4 in. Estimate $100-200 Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
