Small-format manuscript on fine polished paper, with opening decorated bifolium, three full-page miniature paintings (not written over existing text), and text in compartments throughout, in black, red, and gold ink, damage to the fore-edges of many leaves neatly repaired throughout, some breaks along compartment lining of pages, in later black morocco (worn, breaking at joints), 6 x 3 1/2 in.
