Chinese, 20th Century. Chinese Export rosewood, dreamstone or moonstone and mother of pearl inlaid sofa settee, the back highly carved and pierced, centered with crouching Kylin or Qilin flanked to each side with opposing dragons over three shaped panels inset with dreamstone, having open carved arm rests and a rectangular plank seat with pierced apron carved and inlaid with opposing dragons and centered with a flaming pearl on slight cabriole legs. Settee comes with custom upholstered seat cushion in silk and embroidered with dragons, with matching pillows. Height 42", width 65" (arm to arm), seat depth 20", seat height 14.75".
