Double-page woodcut map on laid paper, German title at top: Africa/Lybia/Morenlandt, German text on verso surmounted by a woodcut head-ornament signed with the monogram V.G. in the cut; the map is based on Ortelius's map of the continent from 1570, it includes several large lakes and the coast of Brazil, ships and sea monsters appear in the ocean, 17 x 14 1/4 in.
