Pair of Civil War Officer's Boots and Carte-de-visite Identified to Brevet Major General Ralph Pomeroy Buckland, c. 1861-65, black leather boots, wood-pegged leather soles (some wear), the front tops in morocco leather, with leather boot straps, and a CDV of Buckland in uniform, ht. 14 1/2 in. Provenance: The Horse Soldier to the collection of Ron Tunison. Estimate $300-500 Some wear from use and a stitching repair on the right top of the right boot.
