Artillery Shell Jacket and Brass Shoulder Scales, c. 1861-65, blue twill woven cloth, red herringbone twill tape around the borders of the jacket, cuffs, and collar, cuff-size general service buttons, lined with jean cloth (wear), muslin sleeve lining with inspector's marks and size 4, and brass shoulder scales. Provenance: The collection of Ron Tunison. Estimate $800-1,200 Jacket has some light moth nips and dust, lining shows wear especially shoulders and back.
