British Pattern 1793 Light Dragoon Pistol, c. 1786, .67 bore, walnut stock with 1786 dated storekeeper's stamp, stamped on the left side of the stock behind the side plate with a broad arrow over "BO" for Board of Ordnance, brass fittings, engraved with rack numbers "C/1" on the trigger guard bow, lock engraved "TOWER" on the tail with an engraved crown over "GR" in front of the cock and an ordnance stamp, inside of the lock marked with a crown over "3" and assembly marks on the edge of the mainspring, barrel has proof marks near the breech and engraved on the top of the barrel "C" over "N-P," with a brass-tipped wooden ramrod, barrel lg. 9, overall lg. 15 1/2 in. Estimate $1,500-2,000 Stock has a few dings and nicks and some light spotting on the steel appropriate to its age, and the lock functions properly and is original and not reconverted.
