Bavarian Smallsword and Scabbard, c. 19th century, brass hilt with a lion pommel, lions on the langet, and pearl grips, partially blued-steel blade with gilt foliate designs and panoply of arms, and a leather scabbard with brass fittings, blade lg. 29 3/4, overall lg. 35 1/2 in. Estimate $300-500 In overall good condition with one nail size hole in the scabbard below the throat. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
