Model 1861 Ten-pounder Parrot Rifle, c. 1861, 2.9-in. bore, serial number 10, dated "1861," marked on the right trunnion "R.P.P./W.P.F.," and on the left trunnion "1861," muzzle marked "No 10/10 PDR/2.9," on a reproduction carriage, tube lg. 78, overall lg. 137 in. Note: One of the early examples produced before the Battle of Bull Run. Nine were captured during the battle from Griffin's and Ricketts batteries.
