George III Sterling Silver Sauce Tureen, London, 1806-07, Henry Nutting or Hannah Northcote, maker, with a lion head finial and an engraved armorial to either side, ht. 6 1/2 in., approx. 29.8 troy oz. Estimate $500-700 Base with several pin prick dents and abrasions to interior. Lid with light surface wear, does not sit perfectly flush with base (both numbered one, interior rim of lid with no major indentations).
