Jacques Callot (French, 1592-1635) La Foire de Gondreville, a later, somewhat worn impression (Lieure, 561). Signed "Ja Callot fe Nancey" in the plate l.l. Etching on paper, plate size approximately 7 x 13 in. (18.5 x 33.4 cm), framed. Condition: Creases or restored tears to u.l. and u.r. edges, toning, pale staining, possible old inscription to l.r. corner or bleeding from an inscription on the reverse, not examined out of frame. Estimate $200-300 The original etching dates to 1625. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
