Antonio Calderara (Italian, 1903-1978) Two Abstract Compositions: Lavender Square and Yellow and Lavender Rectangles Both initialed and dated "A. C. 1972" l.l., and inscribed indistinctly on the verso. Watercolors on paper, 6 1/4 x 6 in. (16.0 x 15.3 cm), framed. Condition: Floated in frames, not examined out of frames. Estimate $400-600 Framed dimensions: 20 1/4 x 16 3/4 inches each. The works are framed with a window in the frame backing to show the pencil inscriptions on the reverse. The inscription appears to read "Antonio/1972 al ..." Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
