Turner Black Basalt Bough Pot and Cover, England, late 18th century, pierced cover to a square shape with canted sides and widow heads at each corner, classical figures within oval cartouches to each side, impressed mark, ht. 6 7/8 in. Estimate $500-700 Slight edge flake to cover. Several shallow chips along the rim and edges of the pot. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
