Large Ban Chiang Red-painted Earthenware Jar, Thailand, bulbous form with wide flaring mouth, decorated with patterned bands of swirls and of free-form lines, rounded base, ht. 15 5/8 in. Provenance: From a Florida estate. Estimate $700-900 a chip and firing cracks to mouth rim, some surface stains. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
