Large Blue and White Vase, China, late 19th century, globular form with long flaring neck, on a short raised foot, decorated with the Eight Buddhist Treasures and lotus scrolls among patterned bands, with wood stand, ht. 23 1/4 in. Provenance: From a Maine estate. Purchased in Vietnam in 1966. Estimate $800-1,000 some potting and firing flaws with pockmarks and clay impurities, otherwise in good condition.
