Miniature Blue-ground Yasui Satsuma Covered Box, Japan, late 19th century, bowl shape on a raised foot, the knobbed cover decorated with a bird-and-flower design in a floral panel, "Yasui" mark with Shimazu family crest on base, ht. 1 1/2, dia. 2 5/8 in.
