Satsuma Triple-bowl Condiment Set with Covers, Japan, late 19th century, with an entwined string handle, each bowl decorated with a bird-and-flower design on one side and a group of Immortals on the other, the angled domed covers with patterned bands and floral sprays, "Meizan" mark on the underside of the covers, with a conforming carved wood stand, ht. 4 5/8, wd. 8 3/4, dp. 3 5/8 in.
