Tay Chee Toh (b. 1941) Watercolor, Mother and Child, Malaysia, 1968, depicting a woman with a baby boy on her back, against a green background, signed "Chee Toh" in Chinese characters with a seal, on rice paper, scribed in English on the reverse, 37 5/8 x 18 1/8 in. Provenance: Purchased from the artist in the late 1960s; sold to the current owner in the 1990s. Estimate $2,000-3,000 backed, tears and creases along edges, severe toning and discoloration to back.
