Embroidered Altar Cloth, China, late 19th/early 20th century, the square panel decorated with a front-facing dragon surrounded by ruyi-head clouds, the top reserve with a pair of side-facing dragons, bordered by a scrolling gourd and vine motif, all in couched gold thread and satin stitch, framed and glazed, sight size 30 3/4 x 31 1/4 in.
