Mocha Cat's-eye Barrel-form Jug with Carved Wood Cover, England, c. 1820, the body with two wide yellow slip bands decorated with three-color cat's eyes separated by alternating bands of blue and black slip, strap handle with foliate terminals, molded spout, with old carved wood cover, ht. 6 3/4 in. Provenance: The Jonathan Rickard Collection. Estimate $800-1,200 Two inch crack in rim, small chip on spout, staining.
