Brutcher, Charles (1869-1940) Joshua: a Man of the Finger Lakes Region. [Syracuse: for the author, 1927]. First and only edition, octavo, illustrated, no addenda present; bound in publisher's brown cloth, some scuffs and stains to cover, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 in. The work is a thinly veiled indictment of the Rockefeller family by its description of William Rockwell (read Rockefeller) who is depicted as a bigamist, outlaw, and member of the notorious upstate New York Loomis Gang.
