Chippendale Tiger Maple Slant-lid Desk, (imperfections), ht. 41 3/4, wd. 38, dp. 18 in. Estimate $800-1,200 back leg loose, refinished, feet appear to be old replacements, one with cracks and old repairs, the rear left broken, splits to the top and lid, a one-inch strip added to the lid from what appears to be a blown-out hinge, drawers are reconstructed, and some of the thumbmolded edge to the drawers are gone.
