Silver Creamer, Samuel Vernon, Newport, Rhode Island, c. 1715-30, bulbous body with scroll handle, molded rim and foot, and short narrow spout, the front of the body with engraved image of a fox, the handle engraved "P+A," marked near the handle "SV" over a dot inside a heart cartouche, ht. 3 3/4 in., approx. 3.4 troy oz. Estimate $600-800 Roughness at spout to body solder joint. Foot may be reattached.
