Carved Mahogany Reverse Serpentine Bureau, possibly Pennsylvania, late 18th century, the boldly serpentine top with canted corners above a conforming case of cockbeaded drawers flanked by reeded, canted, lambrequin corners, on pointed ogee bracket feet, replaced brasses, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 36 1/4, case wd. 41 1/2, overall dp. 22 in. Estimate $3,000-5,000 repairs to base, shrinkage crack through one reeded corner.
