Sprig-decorated Creamware Sugar Bowl, England, c. 1800, the body with wide band of orange slip decorated with applied swags and hand-painted dark brown flower and leaf motifs, bowl with twisted handle and floral sprig terminals, the lid with large floral knop, ht. 4, wd. 5 3/8 in. Estimate $300-500 Bowl has a small chip on the rim and loss to approx. one inch of applied swag, lid has a chip on the undeside of the floral knop.
