Identified Case XX V-44 Fighting Knife, c. 1941-45, plastic grip, brass hand guard, marked on the blade "CASE XX," one side of the blade is engraved with a nude woman and says "Kandy," the other side is engraved with a nude woman and says "Everett H. Darian/Troop A. 110th Cav.," with a leather scabbard, blade lg. 9 1/4, overall lg. 14 in. Provenance: The collection of Nicholas A. Penachio. Estimate $200-400 SOme very light dark spotting on the blade but in very good condition.
