Model 1840 Light Artillery Saber and Scabbard, c. 1855, brass hilt with wire-wrapped leather grip, marked on the ricasso "AMES" and "1855," and a steel scabbard, blade lg. 32 1/2, overall lg. 37 3/4 in. Estimate $200-300 Dented knuckle bow but in overall very good condition.
