Edward White (American, 1930-1967) First photograph taken during an Extravehicular Activity (EVA), Gemini 4, June 1965. RCA stamp (NASA KSC) on the verso. Vintage chromogenic print on fiber-based Kodak paper with 'A Kodak Paper' watermark on the verso, image size 9 1/2 x 7 5/8 in. (24.0 x 19.2 cm), unmatted. Condition: Subtle scratches u.c. N.B. 'In addition to the Hasselblads, on the second Gemini mission, history was made when the first picture of a spacecraft in orbit was taken by astronaut Ed White as he floated outside his spacecraft. He used a Zeiss Contarex 35mm camera mounted atop his gas-powered maneuvering gun' (https://history.nasa.gov/apollo_photo.html). The NASA negative number is S-65-30550.
