(17.5 x 18.3 cm), unmatted. Condition: Good. N.B. Shepard's first words after stepping onto the lunar surface were, "And it's been a long way, but we're here." Ed Mitchell took this photograph through the window of the LM. Shepard lowers his gold-plated outer visor against the glare of the lunar sun, looking up toward Cone Crater.
