Col. Joseph Hooker/Asst Adjt Gen. U.S.A./June 4th,/1849/SAN FRANCISCO," in a wooden case with maroon velvet lining, a copper medal for Major General Joseph Hooker, two images, and a short history of Gen. Joe Hooker.
