Gilbert "Amphion" Mirrored Shelf Clock, Winstead, Connecticut, c. 1884, walnut and ebonized case with applied carved moldings, beveled etched mirrored side panels flanking the dome-top etched door with depiction of birds, eight-day time and strike, spring-powered, skeletonized plate movement, regulated by an etched mirrored pendulum bob, ht. 25 in.
