William Cary Pocket Sextant, London, first quarter 19th century, 3-in. lacquered brass pierced frame with silvered scale, index arm with vernier, magnifier, sighting pinnula, mirrors, and cross beam engraved "Cary London," screw mount octagonal-shaped rosewood handle, all housed in its original fitted, velvet-lined, tooled-leather-covered case.
