Charles Herbert Woodbury (American, 1864-1940) Twilight Signed "Charles H Woodbury" l. r., titled on the reverse. Oil on canvasboard, 10 x 13 7/8 in. (25.3 x 35.0 cm), framed. Condition: Possible paint losses (primarily near edges), varnish discoloration, surface grime. Estimate $1,500-2,500 The work would benefit from cleaning. In painting the work the artist clearly intended to leave the canvas exposed. There are areas, however, where it is uncertain whether some of the exposed canvas is due to loss.
