Confederate States Naval Cutlass, c. 1861-65, brass hilt with a "CSN" on one side of the pommel, and an anchor on the other, and a scalloped grip, steel blade, and a black-painted wooden scabbard with iron fittings, blade lg. 21, overall lg. 26 3/4 in. Provenance: The collection of Don Troiani. Estimate $4,000-6,000 In overall very good condition with a few light nicks in the blade, and small amount of wood loss on the bottom edge of the scabbard.
