Two Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knifes, c. 1940s-50s, a knife with a wooden grip, brass pommel, and steel guard with a broad arrow stamp, steel blade and a leather scabbard with a brass chape; and a knife with a steel grip and guard, steel blade and a leather scabbard with a steel chape. Provenance: The collection of Nicholas A. Penachio. Estimate $200-400 Knife with the wooden grip is in good condition with some wear on the scabbard from use, the other has some nicks on the grip and some stitching lose on the scabbard.
