P. 08 S/42 Luger Semi-automatic Pistol, serial number 1797b, 9mm caliber, blued barrel and receiver dated 1938, non-matching numbers, checkered walnut grips with two non-matching magazines, and original P.38 leather holster, barrel lg. 4, overall lg. 8 5/8 in. Note: FFL, C&R. Estimate $700-900 Wear to blueing at high spots, thinning of blueing on back and front of grip, holster wear to blueing at muzzle; there is a shallow 1/4 inch dent on the front of the grip; action smooth and tight; bore has strong rifling and minor frosting to the lands and grooves, grips have wear, but no chips or cracks; one non-numbered magazine is marked "fxo," "P.08," and has eagle over 37 waffenamt stamps; the second magazine has serial number 9376y and has eagle over 63 waffenamt.
