Sawin & Dyer Gilt-front Lyre Clock, Boston, c. 1825, painted roman numeral iron dial signed "Sawin & Dyer/Boston" above gilt and mahogany lyre-form midsection with replaced reverse-painted glasses, eight-day time-only weight-driven brass movement, regulated by a brass-faced pendulum, ht. 40 in. Estimate $600-800 partially regilded, original signature, single board pine back board, and pedestal, replaced finial plinth and finial.
